This is a 1-year online program with 15-days of in-person retreats. This will be a journey into the Stars & Planets of Vedic Astrology, for personal development & finding your true Self.

Why this program?

This is the traditional Indian system of Astrology that will help you in understanding your own birth chart, and decode your personality, strengths and weaknesses, your true purpose, your spiritual path and much more. Astrology101 is my flagship program to get you started on this journey.

Features of the program

A one-year journey that blends structured learning with practical application, helping you understand and experience astrology as a subject, and as a tool for self-realization

Live sessions

This is a 52-week program with one live session each week, lasting 2 hours. Over the year, we cover the four pillars of learning: astrology, astronomy, Vedic philosophy, and Indian mythology, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the subject. Each session is recorded for future reference, and all presentation decks are shared, so you can revisit and deepen your learning at your own pace.

Mentor sessions

The program includes small group sessions held once every two weeks, where you sit with a mentor and revisit what has been covered in class. There is no new teaching in these sessions. The focus is on discussion, clarification, and strengthening your understanding through interaction. It is a space to ask questions, hear different perspectives, and build confidence over time. This is for those who need discussion.

In person retreats

There will be 15-18 days of immersive, in-person retreats held over the year, near sacred temple spaces in South India. The focus is on experiencing and integrating what we study through body-based practices, group processes, and reflection. It is a space to slow down and bring the learning alive beyond theory.

How will you benefit

You will learn the foundations of Astronomy, Astrology, Indian Philosophy, and Vedic Mythology. You will begin to interpret your own birth chart using these four pillars, and gradually connect theory with real application. You will have access to all class materials, including decks and recordings, so you can revisit and reflect at your own pace. On completion, you will be eligible to enrol in the second year of study.

What you’ll learn over the year

This program is more than learning astrology... It is about understanding yourself, the universe, and the links between the two

Mythology (approx. 22 Hours)
Explore the stories, symbols, and archetypes that form the backbone of Vedic thought. Journey through the lives of Sage Vyasa, the Dashavataras including Matsya, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, and Parashurama, along with the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Lord Krishna, and Gautama Buddha. These stories become tools to understand the Planets of Vedic Astrology, human nature, dharma, and deeper astrological symbolism.

Vedic Philosophy (approx. 12 Hours)
Build a practical understanding of core philosophical concepts including Atman, Dharma, Karma, Samsara, Moksha, Purushartha, Varna, Ashtanga Yoga, cosmology, sacred scriptures, and the role of temples and lineage. This pillar helps connect astrology to a larger framework of attaining self-realization.

Astronomy (approx. 38 Hours)

Understand the astronomical framework behind astrology, including Earth’s motion, seasons, solstices, equinoxes, planetary orbits, celestial coordinates, eclipses, precession of the equinoxes, sidereal vs tropical zodiac, nakshatras, different House systems, and practical astronomical tools such as Stellarium. This pillar grounds astrology in observable reality.

Astrology (approx. 26 Hours)
Learn the foundations of chart interpretation through the building blocks of the Signs, elements, dualities, modalities, planetary relationships, aspects, bhavas, apparent motion, combustion, and the Navagrahas. This section builds your core astrological language and prepares you to read charts with confidence.

Elemental Retreats (6 Retreats)
Experience the five elements, Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Ether, through immersive retreats designed for experiential learning, contemplation, and personal transformation, culminating in an End-of-Year retreat.

Value of the program

The value of this 1-year program is INR 75000 to 95,000, taking into account the amount of time, effort, years of study and the overall structure of the 1 year program. In order to make it accessible for all, I offer three contribution tiers:

Basic (for those with financial constraints) - INR 40,000
Standard (what sustains the program) - INR 70,000
Supporter (for those who can support others) - INR 90,000

If money is tight, choose the Basic Tier. If you can pay comfortably, choose Standard. If you are doing well, choose Supporter. If your situation falls between tiers, you are welcome to choose a contribution within that range.

Please don’t choose the lower tier out of habit, as this is meant for genuine need. It is a self-honour system and I trust that you will choose fairly. I won’t be negotiating individual amounts, and we will lock the contribution amount at enrolment time. If it helps, I can offer an instalment option that works for you.

Optionals

As this program has grown, many layers of learning and support have emerged organically. From the next batch onwards (most probably September 2026), these will be offered as "Optionals" that you can choose based on your interest, time, and capacity.

Philosophy Sessions

Weekly sessions that bring Vedic wisdom into everyday life in a simple and practical way. Each session explores one idea through stories, reflection, and interaction. The aim is to support not just your learning of astrology, but also clarity and awareness in daily living.

INR 4,000 per year

Immersives

These are 3-4 day in-person retreats held near sacred locations in South India. The focus is on experiencing and integrating what we study through different modalities, individual and group processes, and reflection. It is a space to slow down and make the learning come alive.

INR 15-20,000 (for a 3-4 day retreat, including food, accomodation, local transport, retreat material and facilitation)

Live Readings

A guided space to practice real consultations. You will conduct live readings while I observe and support you with feedback. The focus is on building confidence, clear communication, and applying your knowledge in real situations. This is for those who want to eventually consult for others.

INR 27,000 per year

Certification

Learners who wish to receive formal recognition can opt for certification through an affiliated university. On completion of Years 1 and 2, you will be eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised University. On completion of Years 3 and 4, you will be eligible for a Master’s level certification. This is optional and does not affect your learning within the program.

About me

I am a Vedic Life Coach with over 25 years of experience in astrology, education, business, data science and Vedic studies. I hold a PhD in Vedic Astrology from Shree Maharshi College of Vedic Astrology, and a gold medal in data science from the Indian School of Business. Program guidelines, terms and conditions

1. Practice before reading charts of others
Students are requested not to read (or even see the) charts for others until they have completed at least three supervised practice sessions with me. For this, I will share my birth details and expect you to conduct three readings. This helps build confidence and ensures you are ready to take on the responsibility of reading charts for others.

2. Webcam on, mic off
Keeping your video on during live sessions is strongly encouraged. It supports engagement, improves learning, and helps build connection within the group.

3. Attendance
Live attendance is required for students who wish to receive certification. If you are not applying for certification, you may choose to learn through recordings. Occasional absence is understandable, but consistent live participation is expected for certification.

4. Use of course material
All videos, recordings, and course materials are provided strictly for personal learning. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared in any form without prior permission.

5. Access to live sessions & recordings
Access to live sessions and recordings is limited to the enrolled participant only. Sharing access with others, in any form, is not permitted. You are responsible for ensuring that the material remains protected.

6. Community Conduct (WhatsApp Groups)
Students will be added to WhatsApp groups for learning and discussion. These spaces are meant for meaningful engagement related to the program. Please be mindful of what you share and avoid unrelated content.

7. Financial commitment
The program follows a sliding scale based on trust. You are expected to choose a contribution that reflects your capacity, without misuse of the model. Once agreed upon, your commitment stands, and a seat is reserved for you based on this agreement. All payments must be made as per the agreed schedule. In case of non-payment or delays without prior discussion, I reserve the right to discontinue your participation from the program.

8. Credit & acknowledgment
If you share your work publicly (articles, posts, videos, etc.) based on what you have learned in this program, please give appropriate credit to the program and to my guidance.

9. Learning Pace & Patience
Beyond the weekly sessions, please set aside time for self-study and reflection. This is essential for deeper understanding. This is a long-term learning journey. I am committed to teaching and guiding you through this process, and I expect a sincere commitment from your side as well. It is a gradual and layered learning process. I request your patience as concepts are introduced and built over time.
