Take your astrology journey to the next level. A one-year, Vedic Astrology program with live classes, 4 in-person retreats and practical training. This course is ideal for:

Course format

Live, weekly classes on Sunday mornings India time, held online and recorded for future reference
Online classes will be held on Sundays, 9-11am IST (2 hours each week)
Bi-weekly mentor sessions for deepening the concepts learned, and resolving doubts
4 (or 5) in-person retreats, in Tamil Nadu (India), spread over the year, for experiential and hands-on learning

What you'll learn

Zodiac Signs & Mythology: Deep dive into the 12 rasis, their archetypes and how to use them
Dasas and timing Techniques: Learn about the general rules for interpreting Periods, along with Chara Dasa, Vimshottari, Narayana and Kalachakra Dasha, with real-life examples
Graha Avasthas: Learn to interpret the different states of a Planet using Jagraadi, Baalaadi, Lajjitaadi, Deeptaadi and Shayanaadi Avasthas
Shadbala and Bhavabala: Assess the strength of the Planets (Navagrahas) and Houses (Bhavas)
Retreats: Attend 5 in-person retreats on the Navagrahas, to explore the mythology and experience the planet (optional)
Develop intuition: Learn different methods to develop and use intuition in reading birth charts
Client session training: Learn how to structure client sessions, ethics and live practice

My name is Vikram Devatha

I am a Vedic Life Coach with over 25 years of experience in astrology, education, business, data science and Vedic studies. I hold a PhD in Vedic Astrology from Shree Maharshi College of Vedic Astrology, and a gold medal in data science from the Indian School of Business. I have hosted numerous year-long programs, workshops and retreats, and I welcome you to my world of Vedic Astrology.

What are the prerequisites for this course?

This course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of Vedic astrology. Ideally, you are familiar with the foundational concepts including basic Astronomy, Navagrahas, Dualities, Modalities, Elements, the 12 Houses, the Dashavatars of Vishnu and how they are linked to the Navagrahas and basic chart reading. If you're unsure, check with us.

Will the classes be live or recorded?

The course will be delivered through live sessions to allow for real-time interaction, Q&A, and personalized guidance. Recordings of all sessions will be provided for those who can't attend live, so you can review the material at your own pace.

How much time should I dedicate weekly to the course?

Apart than the regular 2-hour weekly calls, students spend 1-2 hours per week on class activities, including assignments, and self-study. This will vary depending on your personal pace and how much time you wish to spend on practice.

What if I can’t attend a live class?

No worries! All classes will be recorded and available to you within 24 hours. You can watch at your convenience and still participate in class discussions.

Will there be any in-person meets in the course?

Yes! The program includes four immersive retreats focused on the nine Navagrahas (planets) in Vedic astrology. These retreats will allow you to deepen your connection with the grahas through mythological stories, practical applications, and various activities. The retreats will be scheduled over the year based on mutual convenience.

Can I join if I’m not located in India?

Absolutely! This course is designed to be accessible to students worldwide. All sessions will be conducted online, and you can participate from anywhere in the world. However, the retreats wont be accesible unless you are willing to travel, as these will be in person. If for any reason you cannot attend a retreat, you can join the next time we offer the same retreat.

How do I get personal feedback on my work?

You will receive personalized feedback through class interactions, assignments, and optional 1:1 coaching sessions. You’ll also be able to ask questions and get guidance during the live sessions.

Is there a refund policy?

We offer a 14-day refund policy if you feel the course isn’t a good fit for you after attending the first few sessions. Please reach out to us within this time frame, and we’ll gladly process your refund.
